- Monitor and manage work queues
- Coordinate consults and Send-outs
- Process internal test add-ons and liaise with the labs
- Research, trouble-shoot and follow up on client inquiries and problems
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years or more of administrative experience such as office coordination, scheduling, recordkeeping, or similar
Preferred Qualification:
- Current or prior Labcorp experience
- One year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience
- Two years or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital
Additional Job Standards:
- Comfortability with handling biological specimens
- Able to accurately identify specimens
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
