IMKO and our Siouxland Client are hiring Lab Techs Our Client is willing to TRAIN this position! The Lab Technician position is a full-time opportunity to learn hands-on in the areas of product testing, research & development, and food safety consultation. The core capabilities include microbiological, chemical, and physical testing. This position is in a scientific lab environment. The Lab Tech positions support other lab employees in the lab. This position does require keeping a sterile environment. Lab Techs will set up and trouble shoot equipment for accurate results. Lab Tech duties are, however not limited to: Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.Maintains and verifies equipment. What you will make as a Lab Tech Starting pay as Follows: 4 year degree FT-$18/hr2 year degree FT- $17/hrNo degree FT- $16/hrPart-Time- $15/hr These are Full time and Part Time openings, 11am- 7: 30 pm OT as neededDays will be set at interview with the client Qualifications HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience (Preferred)Must be reliable and work well in a team environment Training will be provided and can accommodate student schedules IMKO Pays Weekly on Fridays!
