Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician 3 for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.


100% Onsite


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

-Electronics lab equipment familiarity (current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems).

-Electrical background, circuit analysis, and soldering.

-Mechanical background and ability to drill and cut test fixtures and test articles to modify as needed.

-Regular and predictable attendance is required.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Lightning Lab Technician, you'll be at the heart of our testing operations. Your expertise will help engineers validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with global standards. Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for configuring test bed per test procedures and operate lab test equipment, including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems. As well, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining lab test equipment that requires the ability to troubleshoot circuits and solder repairs. This position requires an electrical background.


Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of lifting, bending, and reaching while configuring test beds.


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).


WORK HOURS:

Full-Time/First Shift

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM


ADDITIONAL:
