Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro procedures and will be proficient in using various medical equipment, including GE systems. You will work within a dynamic environment focused on patient care and collaboration with nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebellar angiograms, stent placements, and balloon procedures.
  • Scrub in the procedure room and assist the physician during invasive procedures.
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and MacLab systems.
  • Participate in daily huddle calls to ensure optimal team communication and patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Experience in neuro and cardiac procedures preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is a must.
