Job description

Travel Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Palatka, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, on-call required

Job Description: The Travel Cath Lab Technologist will provide exceptional care in the cardiac catheterization lab, supporting medical staff in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting during procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing top-notch care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

  • Prepare the catheterization lab for procedures.
  • Assist physicians in performing cath lab procedures.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment.
  • Provide post-procedure care and education to patients.
  • ARRT certification or equivalent.
  • State licensure as required.
  • Previous experience in a cath lab setting preferred.
