Registered / Certified / Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT/LVT)
Pine Hollow Veterinary Services โ€“ Western Reserve Animal Clinic, Pierpont Ohio
Full-Time (Minimum 32 hours/week)

Pine Hollow Veterinary Services is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, team-oriented practice. This role works directly with veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care, technical support, and client education while supporting medical excellence and clinic efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

Under Veterinary Supervision:

  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and uncomplicated extractions
  • Perform local nerve blocks

Under General Supervision:

  • Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture and cystocentesis
  • Take radiographs and collect/process lab samples
  • Administer injections and controlled substances
  • Suture and remove sutures, drains, and staples
  • Assist in surgery and medical procedures
  • Implant microchips, place urinary catheters, apply bandages/splints
  • Provide client education and nursing care

Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program
  • Active Ohio credential (RVT)
  • Strong skills in anesthesia, dentistry, lab work, and patient restraint
  • Accurate math skills for dosing and fluids
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with practice management software
