Job description

In this support role, you'll collect blood samples, foster patient trust, and perform low complexity testing and culture set-up. Ideal candidates include students, those with patient care backgrounds, and individuals with some lab experience. Join us and make a difference in our community!

Schedule Details:

  • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks

  • Monday - Friday

  • Day shift, working between 7am - 5:30pm

    • 8-hour shifts with start and end times varying

  • On-site position at CentraCare Big Lake

    • Position will float to other clinic sites routinely for approximately 50-75% travel


Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay $19.15 per hour, exact wage determined by years of related experience

    • Salary range: $19.15-28.71

  • Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
    • Must be able to be verified within 30-days of hire
  • Transportation available for off-campus laboratory related activities required
  • A valid driver's license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of liability insurance coverage may be required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills required
  • Prior experience in a Phlebotomist, Lab Assistant, or similar role preferred
  • Graduate from or in the process of pursing a degree in laboratory or medicine related program preferred
