Job description

Position: DELIVERY DRIVER

Status: Full-Time

Compensation:$18–$21 per hour

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Department: Warehouse, Logistics & Purchasing

ABOUT THE ROLE When dies and supplies ship late, our customers lose production time - and they remember it. As our Delivery Driver, you are the company's face at the customer's loading dock and the last quality check before our product changes hands. It's a role where being on-time, intact, and professional every single time turns logistics into a real competitive advantage. You'll spend your day on the road running local and regional routes in a company vehicle, and you'll pitch in with the shop team between runs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely operate a company vehicle on local and regional delivery routes, in full compliance with all traffic and motor-vehicle laws.

• Deliver cutting dies, printing plates, parts, supplies, and finished product to customers, vendors, and sister facilities on schedule.

• Load, secure, and unload the vehicle safely - including recurring lifting of up to 65 lbs.

• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs right away. • Process delivery paperwork accurately: purchase orders, proof of delivery, driver logs, and bills of lading.

• Communicate proactively about delivery issues, customer concerns, route changes, and delays.

• Between runs, support the shop with finishing, sample work, inventory counts, and other warehouse duties.

• Represent the company professionally at every customer location you visit.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Prior delivery driver experience and a clean driving record (required). • Valid state driver's license for the areas where deliveries are made (required). CDL required only where the vehicle or route calls for one. • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Comfortable working safely around materials with sharp edges, and able to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch. • Forklift certification a plus; experience in a manufacturing, die-making, printing, packaging, or converting environment is a plus. • Self-directed on the road, team-oriented in the shop, dependable, and customer-focused.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the day.

• Year-round exposure to outdoor weather during loading, unloading, and deliveries.

• PPE required: safety glasses, closed-toe safety footwear, and high-visibility apparel where posted.

PAY & SCHEDULE This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position paying $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience. You'll drive a company vehicle on a defined local and regional route. Actual pay within the range reflects experience, qualifications, and location.
