Position Details:
Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Cambridge, MA is currently looking for a In Vivo Research Associate to join their expanding team.
Job Title: In Vivo Research Associate / Pharma Industry
Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 48 months
Location: Cambridge, MA
Note:
The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract.

Job Description:
Summary: 
The main function of a Pharmacology Associate is to support drug development and research by conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing pharmacological data, and assisting in the evaluation of drug efficacy and safety. 
A typical Pharmacology Associate works closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs.
 
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct in vivo experiments to assess drug activity and efficacy
Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data, prepare reagents, maintain lab equipment, and manage sample inventory
Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical and clinical studies
Assist in the development of protocols and standard operating procedures
Present findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific publications
Stay current with advancements in pharmacology and related technologies
 
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
0-2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting
Strong understanding of pharmacological principles and in vivo laboratory techniques
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel)
Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques is a plus
