Deliver powerful results

To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Computer Science Teacher with a Bachelor's degree (STEM-related field preferred), and at least 1-2+ years of lead teaching experience (computer science experience preferred), with a proven record of facilitating lab or engineering design activities and relevant curriculum creation.

Zeta students develop the skills and mindset they need to be creators and architects in an ever-evolving digital and modern world. Our students explore and discover through Zeta Innovation Laboratory. At the heart of every Zeta School is an Innovation Laboratory (Z Lab), which is a cutting-edge creator's space where Zeta students of all ages and abilities learn in a rigorous way through design thinking and hands-on experimentation that crosses all disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement inquiry-driven, interdisciplinary lessons that engage students in rigorous design thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving across subjects.
  • Build a classroom culture that fosters innovation, critical thinking, and a genuine love for discovery – where students take creative risks and collaborate joyfully.
  • Demonstrate expertise in design thinking and STEM integration, guiding students to apply their learning to real-world challenges.
  • Maintain and optimize the Z Lab learning environment, ensuring it remains a world-class space for exploration and creation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to co-create curriculum, refine instructional practices, and build a rigorous, joyful learning experience rooted in Zeta's mission.
  • Use data, feedback, and student work to assess learning and continuously improve instruction.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with students and families to support each child's personal and academic growth.
  • Embrace the "start-up spirit" of a founding team—adapting quickly, solving problems creatively, and building systems that will shape the future of Zeta Schools.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and coaching to sharpen your craft and contribute to a team that believes in doing hard things exceptionally well.
Join our purpose-driven community

Zeta teammates are lifelong learners who live with child-like joy and a deep sense of purpose. We disrupt the status quo and tackle problems together. Our team stands united by our commitment to a limitless future for every child. Our Zeta team is comprised of top talent with incredible schooling and private sector experience. At Zeta:

  • We are passionate about our mission of providing world-class education to all students
  • We bring a mindset of growth, flexibility, and openness to feedback
  • We are hungry and determined to not only meet our goals, but surpass them
  • We are humble, willing to put the team's needs ahead of our own, and committed to contributing to a collaborative work environment
  • We have a high bar for excellence and sweat over the details
  • We are caring and put team over individual at all times
