Job description

Interventional Cardiology Practice Opportunity Available
A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia with a thriving physician group.
This Hospital owned Physician Group is currently seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our robust team with additional support from two board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners (NP’s).
  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, a 3% annual cost-of-living adjustment
  • Bonus: 100% of practice profits
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM; time is split equally between clinic and Hufstetler Heart Center (cath lab)
  • Patient Volume: On average, 14 patients per day in clinic; Hospital patients vary per day.
  • Call: Call required 7 days per month for medical/therapeutic cardiology only; No Stemi Call; Shared with other fellow cardiologist; Extra pay for extra call.
  • Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
  • Clinic/Hospital Facilities: The clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus. The Hufstetler Heart Center lab features state-of-the-art equipment, including a GE Myospect Nuclear Camera.
  • Additional Facilities: cath lab; physicians’ lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee gym; and a state-of-the-art medical education center with simulation labs, a conference center, and more!
