Job description

This south Georgia medical center is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join two other board-certified cardiologists with additional support from two NPs. Ideal candidate would be an Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist or an Interventional Cardiologist.

• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience

• Bonus: 100% of practice profits

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM; time is split equally between clinic and cath lab (2.5 days in clinic and 2.5 days in catch lab)

• Patient Volume: On average, 14 patients per day in clinic; Hospital patients vary per day.

• Call: Call required 7 days per month; Shared with other fellow cardiologist; Extra pay for extra call.

• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents

• Clinic/Hospital Facilities: The clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus. The Hufstetler Heart Center lab features state-of-the-art equipment, including a GE Myospect Nuclear Camera!

• Additional Facilities: physicians’ lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee gym; and a state-of-the-art medical education center with simulation labs, a conference center, and more!

• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship

• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
