Job description

JOB TITLE: Program Lab Facilities Coordinator JOB LOCATION: Manassas, VA WAGE RANGE*: 50-56.52 JOB NUMBER: 26-00969 JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Program Lab Facilities Coordinator to work from their Manassas, VA facility. Duties and Responsibilities Assemble test racks with components, servers, switches, KVMs, etc. Cable interconnections within the test rack and external connections to the lab in an organized fashion.

Build servers with COTS and GOTS software, configure switches, etc. Controlling equipment/property movement and tracking (both government and company). Support new lab planning (layout, power, cooling, etc) and working with facilities to ensure all needs are met.

Support Bill of Material generation and lab hardware ordering including lead time tracking. Support engineering if/when a hardware issue/failure is identified and working with the vendor/supplier to repair/replace/RMA failed equipment. Conduct Informal and Formal Tests as required to validate all planned testable requirements Communicate project/program issues to management, as necessary Install and checkout IA software as well as provide test and troubleshooting support at other testing site locations.

Analyze current requirements documentation to develop methods and descriptions for validating requirements through test and other means Assist in the development of new test engineering documentation such as test planning documents, test procedures and test reports This position requires the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
