Job Description
Join a collaborative GMP lab where your hands-on experience with cell-based assays and ELISA workflows will be put to use every day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the bench while also helping support and guide a small team. You'll play a key role in assay execution, method support, and day-to-day lab operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Hands-On Assay Work
  • Execute cell-based assays, ligand-binding ELISAs, and related workflows
  • Perform routine tasks such as cell plating, dilutions, and 96-well plate work
  • Apply strong aseptic technique and pipetting skills in a GMP setting

Method & Lab Support
  • Assist with method qualification, transfer, and troubleshooting
  • Help ensure consistency and quality of assay execution

Documentation & Compliance
  • Accurately record work in lab notebooks/e-systems
  • Follow GMP documentation practices and data integrity standards

Team Support
  • Help coordinate daily lab activities and support team workflow
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed
  • Act as a go-to resource for technical questions on the team

Collaboration
  • Work closely with clients, peers and supervisors to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented lab environment

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with >6 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or;
  • Master's degree with >5 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or;
  • PhD with 4+ years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on industry lab experience (GMP required; academic-only backgrounds are not a fit)
  • Strong technical background in cell-based assays, reporter-gene assays, ELISAs, 96-well plate workflows, multi-channel pipetting, cell culture, cell counting, and cell banking

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
    • Technical depth may offset the need for formal leadership experience
  • Thrives in a high-visibility, highly collaborative environment with interaction across teams and clients

Communication & Work Style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to handle tough questions and think on your feet
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced, plate-based workflow
  • Strong prioritization skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset

Compliance & Documentation
  • Strong documentation discipline and a GMP-aligned mindset

Additional Information
Position is full-time, first-shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with overtime as needed.
