Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist with sample movement and tracking throughout the laboratory
โ€ข Manage working queues in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for multiple lab teams
โ€ข Assist with sample gathering and consolidation for project requests
โ€ข Track and manage sample storage
โ€ข Perform routine workflows without specific guidance
โ€ข Work collaboratively with other members of the lab team to meet sample turnaround times
โ€ข Work to maintain CLIA/CAP compliance through documentation assistance
โ€ข Approach work with safety and diligence and follow safety requirements of the laboratory
โ€ข Maintain lab cleanliness, i.e. cleaning floors, cleaning labware, disposing of biohazard
โ€ข General lab maintenance and upkeep
Qualifications:
โ€ข High School degree or GED required
โ€ข 0-2+ years clinical laboratory experience
โ€ข Laboratory
โ€ข Knowledge of CAP regulations
โ€ข Experience with laboratory SOPs and protocols
โ€ข Comfort with laboratory safety and training
โ€ข Demonstrates problem solving skills in the laboratory
โ€ข Good communication and organization skills
