Job description

Job Description:
Berklee is seeking a Lab Operations and Support Consultant to provide technical and operational support for our cutting-edge music technology labs and classrooms. This role ensures students, faculty, and visiting artists can create, collaborate, and learn without disruption.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide in-person, remote, and on-call support for music technology equipment, A/V systems, DAWs, synthesizers, and more.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and test software, hardware, and networked systems.
  • Assist faculty and students during classes, labs, and events.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor 30-45 student employees.
  • Document processes, track equipment usage, and implement lab upgrades and projects.

Who You Are:
  • B.A. in Music Technology or related field with 1-2 years of experience in technical support.
  • Skilled in DAW operation, audio production, MIDI, sound design, and A/V troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with audio software (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase) and hardware synthesizers.
  • Strong communicator, organized, inclusive, and collaborative.
