Job description

Core Research Activities:

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and preparing reports.
  • Writing, Publication Dissemination of research: Preparing manuscripts. publication in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to grant proposals, and presenting research findings at conferences and lab meetings.  
  • Literature Review: Staying up-to-date with relevant research and participating in scientific discussions.

Lab and Mentorship Responsibilities:

  • Lab Management: Performing assigned lab duties, maintaining stock reagents, and ensuring general lab operations. 
  • Mentorship: Guiding and mentoring other researchers, including graduate and undergraduate students. 
  • Collaboration: Working with other researchers within the lab and potentially with external research groups. 

Grant Writing: Contributing to the development of grant proposals and progress reports. 

  • Organization and Traveling to remote locations for data collection
  • Will need to help organize data collection locally, domestically, and international
