Medical Technologist

At Princeton Medical Group, P.A. our mission has always been to deliver excellent medical care with compassion. We are a private medical practice with over 35 providers and 9 medical specialties. We are searching for dedicated and motivated employees to join our dynamic and growing team!

We are currently looking to hire a part time Medical Technician/Technologist to work in our Lab Department

Medical Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures
  • Follow CLIA, HIPPA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
  • Review and release test results.
  • Workspace organization. Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or notify laboratory manager.
  • Prepare urine, blood, and fluid for testing and analysis.
  • Provide all necessary technical support to ensure the continued effective lab operations.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and sending and receiving emails.
  • Attendance is an essential component of the job

Medical Technologist Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited school and ASCP or equivalent certification
  • One year of clinical medical technician/technologist experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in uranalysis, hematology and chemistry.
  • Good listening skills.
  • BS In Medical Technology (Preferred), BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology or Associates degree in Laboratory Science.
  • Excellent computer skills

Schedule:

  • Three days from Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM, flexibility is necessary as this schedule is subject to change

Job Locations:

  • Regular rotation to: Princeton and Plainsboro, NJ
