Operations Support Associate

About the Role

Agilent is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the production of quality products through a variety of manufacturing, laboratory, documentation, and operational activities. The successful candidate will work in a regulated environment and play a key role in ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and operational procedures.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are interested in developing a career in manufacturing and laboratory operations.

Job Description

Manufacturing & Production Support

  • Prepare, fill, package, and label stock solutions, reagents, and finished products according to approved manufacturing instructions.

  • Generate, review, and complete batch records and associated manufacturing documentation.

  • Print and apply labels, data sheets, and supporting documentation for manufacturing activities.

  • Operate manufacturing equipment, including packaging and automated filling systems, in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of manufacturing equipment and production processes.

  • Clean and prepare laboratory glassware, containers, measuring devices, and production equipment for manufacturing use.

GMP, Quality & Compliance

  • Perform all activities in accordance with GMP, FDA, ISO, safety, and company quality requirements.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality system requirements.

  • Complete required documentation accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure compliance with operating procedures.

  • Identify, document, and communicate process deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that support product quality and operational efficiency.

Laboratory & Operations Support

  • Monitor laboratory and production supply inventories and replenish materials as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and compliant laboratory and manufacturing environment.

  • Support inventory control, material movement, and operational workflows to help meet production schedules.

  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and other operational support activities as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Technical training, vocational certification, or coursework in manufacturing, laboratory sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related field is preferred.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing systems and documentation processes.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment while following established safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, warehouse, or operations environment.

  • Exposure to GMP, ISO, FDA, or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, batch documentation, or manufacturing equipment.

  • Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
