Job Summary

The Ground C2 Systems Engineer is responsible for providing engineering, testing, integration, and technical support for Ground Command and Control (C2) systems. The role leads engineering efforts, develops technical solutions, supports system testing, manages laboratory configurations, and collaborates with customers to ensure successful execution of complex defense system projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering, testing, and technical support for Ground C2 systems.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee engineering and testing activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
  • Develop, integrate, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, technical reports, and test plans.
  • Deliver technical briefings and document project status and test results.
  • Work with customers to analyze technical requirements and develop testing strategies.
  • Manage project resources to support multiple engineering initiatives.
  • Maintain engineering lab equipment and system configurations.
  • Support project management, configuration management, and quality control activities.
  • Ensure successful completion of engineering projects within established timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
  • Experience with project management, configuration management, and quality control.
  • Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and Cisco networking is preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+, MCSE, CISSP, or Certified Systems Engineering Professional certifications are a plus.
