Job description

The PLV Chemistry department is searching for a Student Lab Technician to support the department'sLab Services and Safety Manager

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of chemical reagents, supplies, and equipment for lab experiments
  • Perform routine lab maintenance, including washing glassware
  • Set up labs for experiments, as well as bringing items such as DI water, gloves, paper towels, and waste containers
  • Cleaning up labs after the experiments, returning chemicals to the storage location
  • Updating the inventory
  • Other duties as needed
