Job description

Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Specialist to join an exciting team working at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. This position involves impactful work with a great team. This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide direct Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to the Navy and NUWC’s undersea project.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide comprehensive ILS support to the Technical Design Authority (TDA) for the AN/BYG-1 system. Assist the TDA with various tasks to support ILS objectives, including: -Managing and maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of technical documentation and related logistics efforts, ensuring alignment with established schedules. -Managing work product deficiencies found during reviews and testing.

-Managing and updating existing deficiency reports, ensuring appropriate incorporation into technical manuals and recommending closures when applicable. -Investigating technical manual discrepancies reported by Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Fleet Support Teams, and Installation Teams through desktop reviews and lab validation efforts. -Supporting the development and maintenance of the master schedule for all upcoming technical manual releases.

-Review of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Ready Reference Manuals (RRMs) prior to initial release. -Collaborating with IETM and RRM source providers to ensure timely submission of required source data in accordance with the master schedule. -Monitoring and supporting key delivery milestones, working closely with the IETM development team and TDA to ensure deadlines are met.

-Coordinating with the Integration Team during software builds in the lab to verify build procedures and tracking associated procedure changes. -Submitting lab request forms and scheduling lab time to support ILS validation and verification activities. Travel: Infrequent local travel and overnight travel may be required Work location: Onsite - Newport, RI.

Required Experience: -5+ years of relevant experience -Strong communication skills -Clearance: Secret Desired Experience: - 7+ years professional experience in integrated logistics support. -Hands-on experience supporting Technical Manual Development initiatives. -Familiarity with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) is highly desirable.

-Undersea experience is a plus.
