About the Role

Infinity Health is seeking a flexible and skilled Laboratory / Radiology Technician to support our clinical teams on a PRN basis across our Leon and Lamoni locations. This role is ideal for a dependable healthcare professional who enjoys variety in their workday and values making a direct impact on patient care in a community-focused setting.

You will perform both laboratory testing and general diagnostic radiology procedures, supporting providers in delivering timely, accurate, and compassionate care.


What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service at every interaction
  • Prepare patients for lab and radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Perform ordered laboratory testing including specimen collection (venipuncture, cultures, and other routine labs)
  • Conduct general diagnostic X-rays (such as chest, extremities, and other provider-ordered imaging)
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality for accurate diagnosis
  • Maintain and operate lab and radiology equipment, including routine quality control checks
  • Follow strict safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and patient records
  • Communicate clearly with providers regarding patient status, concerns, or abnormal findings
  • Support clinic workflow by preparing exam rooms and assisting the care team as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of clinic operations
