Job description

Who we are: H&H Color Lab is one the largest single facility professional photography labs in the nation, engaged in both the high-end portrait and wedding market and the high-volume school, sports and events market. With 50 years of experience, H&H Color Lab is an industry leader in product development and design for high quality photographic prints and products.
H&H Color Lab is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician!
This is an ON SITE position at our Raytown, MO office location!
What you will do: As a member of a small team, you will be one of the primary points of contact for IT related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties. You will be working with and taking direction from the Systems Administrator, in addition to working on projects as assigned by the IT Manager.
Work hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM/8AM - 5PM/9AM - 6PM (varies based on season) (occasional after-hours work)
Compensation: $23 - $28 per hour

  • Display good interpersonal skills in interacting with colleagues from various departments and management
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and in-person requests for technical support
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
  • Managing technical documentation and track/document tasks in Jira

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong professional work ethic
  • Be comfortable in a Lean / Agile work environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Worked in a manufacturing company environment
  • Familiarity with Azure IaaS
  • Lean training/exposure/experience

Work Environment:
The primary duties of this position are performed in a standard office environment with frequent exposure to a light-manufacturing environment.
