Job description

Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services, providing the insights and answers that help healthcare providers, patients, researchers, pharmaceutical companies and health systems make confident decisions and improve outcomes. Through our unparalleled science, data, technology and laboratory network, we advance diagnostics, accelerate innovation and help address some of the worldโ€™s most important health challenges. As we shape the future of healthcare, we are leveraging advanced technologies, intelligent digital solutions and data-driven innovation across our operations to enhance how work gets done and deliver greater value to customers and patients. With our global scale and deep expertise, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to do meaningful work, grow your career and make a real impact on peopleโ€™s health around the world. Together, weโ€™re improving health and improving lives.

Senior Director, Consumer Pricing and Analytics

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Director, Consumer Pricing and Analytics, to join our team in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own pricing strategy across the consumer diagnostic testing portfolio, including new product launches, bundles, subscription/membership models, and promotional pricing
  • Build pricing models that account for cost-to-serve (lab processing, logistics, kitting, customer support), consumer willingness-to-pay, and competitive benchmarks
  • Own accountability for how pricing initiatives move the business's core growth metrics: revenue growth targets, margin expansion, CAC and LTV improvement, and subscription growth
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to price new test launches and iterate on pricing for existing offerings based on performance data
  • Design and test pricing experiments (A/B tests, regional pricing, tiered pricing) to optimize conversion, margin, and lifetime value
  • Monitor reimbursement, insurance, and HSA/FSA eligibility trends and how they interact with consumer out-of-pocket pricing decisions
  • Analyze elasticity, conversion funnels, and cohort economics to recommend price points and packaging strategies
  • Build the business case and financial models for pricing changes, presenting recommendations to executive leadership
  • Establish pricing governance: discounting guardrails, promotional calendars, channel-specific pricing (direct-to-consumer, retail, employer/B2B2C)
  • Collaborate with Marketing on how pricing is communicated (bundles, "starting at" pricing, subscription value framing)
  • Track competitor pricing across the consumer diagnostics and digital health landscape
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance and Billing to ensure pricing practices meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • 10 or more years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial finance, within retail/ecommerce, consumer health, or subscription-based consumer businesses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Additional Job Standards
  • Strong quantitative skills โ€” comfort building pricing models, running elasticity analysis, and translating data into clear recommendations
  • Experience pricing products sold directly to consumers (as opposed to purely B2B or payer-negotiated pricing)
  • Track record of partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance
  • Advanced Excel/modeling skills; experience with pricing or BI tools (e.g., SQL, Looker, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills โ€” able to present pricing recommendations to executives and translate strategy into simple, actionable guidance for go-to-market teams
  • Navigating complex matrix environment working across teams (consumer, marketing, finance, pricing teams)
  • Experience at digital-first, consumer-focused companies
  • Experience pricing in ecommerce settings
  • Strong background in pricing modeling and strategy
  • Experience with subscription offerings
About the Role

Weโ€™re looking for a Sr. Director of Consumer Pricing and Analytics to lead pricing strategy for our consumer health business. This role sits at the intersection of finance, marketing, product, and consumer insights โ€” owning how we price direct-to-consumer diagnostic products in a market shaped by payer dynamics, out-of-pocket consumer spend, regulatory considerations, and competitive lab/testing offerings. You'll build the pricing frameworks, models, and governance that let the business grow profitably while staying accessible to the consumers we serve. This role is directly responsible for tying pricing decisions to business outcomes โ€” including revenue growth targets, margin goals, customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) improvement, and subscription growth. Applicants will follow a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
