Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Schedule
Day shift, 8-hour schedule (Mon-Fri) from 07:30 to 16:00.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week (5 shifts of 8 hours).
Requirements
  • 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
  • Experience with TAVR, pacemaker/ICD cases, IMPELLA, IABP, and AngioJet preferred.
  • Proficient in charting system EPIC.
  • Must possess skills in circulating in cath lab procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring/administration.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Assist with various cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and device insertions.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and recovery post-procedure.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the lab.

Compliance / Notes
Call requirement: 1-2 days per week plus coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend. Weekend coverage may be provided via call. Free parking available. COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with exemptions allowed.
