Lab Attendant (3rd Shift)
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Lab Attendant Job Description
Performs lab support to the members of the Lab. Provides assistance at the entrance and inside a classified lab. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 12:00 am - 8:00 am shift.
Lab Attendant Required Tasks:
โ€ข Greets/escorts guests throughout the lab
โ€ข Supports program and site security as required to support the lab
โ€ข Ensures security paperwork exists for all visitors
โ€ข Completes and maintains lab visitor forms for all visitors
โ€ข Ensures database is kept up-to-date with security access information
โ€ข Input movement of parts through the lab using web-based tool
โ€ข Coordinates with security and others all tours through the lab
โ€ข Helps ensure that electronic devices are not brought into the lab
โ€ข Adheres to all established the customer's company security and safety procedures and guidelines
โ€ข Adheres to the customer's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct guidelines
โ€ข Scans inventory weekly
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Lab Attendant Required Skills:
โ€ข Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook
โ€ข Must be reliable, disciplined self-starter able to work with supervision
โ€ข Possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Lab Attendant Additional Requirements:
โ€ข High School diploma or equivalency
โ€ข Candidate must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
โ€ข Willingness to work overtime (flexibility to work 12 hours if needed).
Job Location: Manassas, VA
Contract Terms: 40 hours/week, onsite (Monday-Friday 12:00 am-8:00 am)
Start Date: Immediate
Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00/Per Hour
