We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Nursing Skills Lab & Clinical Administrative Assistant to support both the daily operations of the nursing skills laboratory and the administrative needs of clinical education.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced academic healthcare environment and wants to play an important role in student success. In this position, you will help ensure the nursing lab is fully prepared for instruction, properly equipped, and maintained to support safe and effective learning. You will also assist with clinical scheduling and student compliance tracking, helping students stay prepared for clinical participation.

Your Role

The Nursing Skills Lab & Clinical Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the nursing skills laboratory and provides administrative support to the Nursing Education Depatment. This role helps maintain an organized, well-stocked, and compliant laboratory environment that supports faculty instruction and student learning. The position also assists with clinical education activities by supporting clinical scheduling and monitoring student compliance with required medical and clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Nursing Skills Lab Support

  • Prepare the lab for scheduled classes.
  • Set up equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
  • Assist faculty with lab needs as requested.

Equipment & Inventory

  • Track lab equipment and supply inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder as needed.
  • Help coordinate equipment repair and replacement.
  • Maintain records for inventory and maintenance.

Safety & Compliance

  • Support lab safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Follow infection control and sharps handling procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of supplies.
