Are you looking for a career as a Lab Associate I - Courier? Look no further than BJC! This position is working as a Courier and will not include any Phlebotomy. Join our Courier Service team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively.
*** This Position will not include any Phlebotomy ***
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • 3:00pm to 11:30pm
  • Tuesday through Saturday
  • $$ Evening Shift Differential $$
  • Position involves transferring lab specimen

Overview
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
  • Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
  • Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
