Are you looking for a career as a Lab Associate - Phlebotomist?   Look no further than BJC!  This position is in Phlebotomy. Join our Phlebotomy Laboratory team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively.

  • Full Time - BENEFITS
  • Monday and Friday, Rotating Weekends
  • Evenings, 3pm-1130pm

Role Purpose

Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.

Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
  • Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
  • Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
