Responsibilities

Assists physicians during cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology, and other miscellaneous procedures by operating the physiologic / hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Education/Experience:

a. 1 year prior Interventional experience (Cath/Radiology) OR

b. 2 years prior diagnostic lab experience (Cath/Radiology) OR

c. Associates Degree in a Health Science Program OR

d. Completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology with appropriate specialization)

2. Certification a. ARRT OR b. RCIS 

PREFERRED:1. Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in interventional cardiac cath lab and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
