ASCP - Medical Lab Technician - MT / MLT
MLR is excited to partner with a respected health system in Louisiana to recruit a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician for a full-time, night-shift position. Working on a 7-on/7-off schedule, this role offers the opportunity to perform essential diagnostic testing, maintain lab equipment, and ensure the accuracy of lab results in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Testing: Conduct routine and complex tests across various departments, including hematology, microbiology, and chemistry.
  • Specimen Handling: Collect, process, and analyze specimens with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate lab equipment and perform quality control checks to maintain optimal performance.
  • Result Communication: Ensure timely and accurate communication of lab results, maintaining laboratory safety standards.
ASCP - Medical Lab Technician - MT / MLT Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's degree in Medical Lab Technology.
