Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cath Lab position requiring RCIS certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details
  • Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
  • Performs diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular study procedures
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Call commitment includes 1 week night and 1 weekend per month
  • Rotating holiday coverage required
Requirements
  • Active NY RN license required
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree, or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program, or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in the cardiovascular specialty required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
  • Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
  • Obtain subjective data from patients to support accurate anatomical and physiological diagnosis
  • Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
  • Facility only accepts medical flu vaccine exemptions signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
