Job description

Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Lab Technologist to support our Blood Processing Lab. We are a busy Physician Office Laboratory (POL) with locations in Albany and Clifton Park, and applicants must be willing to work at either site as needed.

Responsibilities include performing automated hematology and chemistry analysis with minimal manual testing. Please note that no phlebotomy is required. The ideal candidates must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Lab hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry
  • Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in a clinical lab
  • Experience with Sysmex XN550 or XN530, Dimension EXL, Beckman DXC 500 AU, Triage Meter, iSTAT 1 System and Schuylab (LIS) is a plus

Compensation:

  • The pay range is set between $34.00-$43.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
