Job description

Lab MT - Medical Laboratory Technician

Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to work in a clinical hospital setting in Tahlequah, OK.

  • Contract: 13 weeks

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week

  • Shift:
    Friday – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    Saturday & Sunday – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    Monday – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

  • Setting: Clinical Laboratory

  • Requirements:
    Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
    Registered Laboratory Technician (ASCP or AMT required)
    AHA BLS required
    Blood Bank experience required
    Pediatric experience required
    Experience with Cerner Millennium
    Experience with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer (Vitros)
    Chemistry and Blood Bank experience required
    Solid color scrubs (Hunter Green preferred; no maroon or royal blue)
    Phlebotomy skills preferred

  • Responsibilities:
    Perform complex laboratory testing in Chemistry and Blood Bank
    Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including Vitros analyzers
    Ensure accuracy and quality control of test results
    Document results in Cerner Millennium system
    Follow laboratory safety and compliance standards

  • Compensation:

    Local Weekly: $1,634.40
    Estimated Travel Package: $1,816.00
