What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the CLIA Technical Supervisor for the laboratory's high-complexity toxicology testing.
  • Perform hands-on LC-MS/MS testing, including specimen preparation, instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the laboratory and serve as the primary on-site laboratory resource.
  • Monitor quality control, calibration, proficiency testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Review instrument performance and investigate technical or quality-related issues.
  • Assist with method validation, verification studies, and implementation of new assays.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, quality records, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all testing is performed in accordance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory policies.
  • Collaborate with the Laboratory Director on quality initiatives, workflow improvements, and laboratory operations.
  • Support inspections and maintain continuous regulatory readiness.
  • Help shape laboratory processes as the organization continues to grow.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or another qualifying scientific discipline.
  • Meets CLIA requirements to serve as a Technical Supervisor for a high-complexity laboratory.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a high-complexity clinical toxicology laboratory.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS toxicology testing and specimen preparation.
  • Experience with AB Sciex instrumentation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CLIA regulations, laboratory quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple aspects of daily laboratory operations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monday-Friday, Day Shift
  • Competitive base salary
  • Medical, Dental, Vision
  • PTO + Paid Holidays
