Medical Technologist

  • Performs the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical preparations of patient/clinical samples to assist a physician in treating or diagnosing different medical conditions. 
  • Maintains laboratory equipment to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Performs laboratory protocols and experiments with the guidance of the laboratory supervisor and manager. 
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
    • Sample intake
    • RNA isolation from blood and other samples e.g., saliva
    • cDNA synthesis
    • qRT-PR
    • CData Analysis
    • Operating, maintaining, and calibrating all general lab equipment.
