Lab Assistant Jobs in Luling, LA (NOW HIRING)

Responsible for calibrating and processing turbine meters on a fixed skid, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements. This role involves physically moving turbine units weighing up to 100 pounds and performing routine calculations and data entry tasks. The position also supports laboratory operations by assisting with sample analysis, data verification, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.

• Calibrate and process turbine meters on a fixed skid
• Safely move and handle turbines weighing up to 100 lbs
• Perform data entry and basic mathematical calculations
• Assist laboratory staff with sample analysis and data verification
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently

• Data entry and basic computer proficiency
• Laboratory handling, including sample prep and labeling
• Specimen collection, sorting, and accessioning
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a production or lab environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs (validated by references)

Intermediate

This is a Contract position based out of Schriever, LA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
