Job description

Job Description Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Lab Technician for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners. Our healthcare client is seeking a Lab Technician and Analyst to support data center and lab operations on a consulting basis through the end of the year, with a strong potential for extension.

This role works closely with technical teams to maintain server environments, deploy new hardware, and ensure smooth lab operations. Work closely with a lab technician and global development teams to support data center and lab operations. Install and configure new HPC hardware in alignment with engineering guidelines.

Install SLES operating systems using both manual and automated methods. Maintain and repair approximately 100 servers across both new and legacy systems. Reconfigure systems as needed to support development requirements.

Resolve hardware, networking, and software issues. Track and manage parts and supplies needed for lab operations. Maintain detailed trackers documenting the status and connections of machines.

Maintain lab areas in alignment with EHS guidelines for safety and housekeeping. Onsite Availability: Work onsite Monday through Friday. The base range for this contract position is $35.00- $45.00 per hour, depending on experience
