LanceSoft is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist for a travel job in Newberg, Oregon.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, days, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel
Experience
  • Generalist Medical Laboratory Scientist experience required.
  • Blood Bank experience required.
  • Ability to work independently after training and competency validation.
  • Flexibility to cover day, evening, mid, and night shifts as needed.
  • Previous experience in an acute care hospital laboratory preferred.
Required Certifications
  • ASCP-MT
EMR
  • Epic experience required
Training Schedule
  • Initial training will consist of:
    • 8-hour shifts
    • 5 days per week
    • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Training is expected to last approximately one month, depending on competency.
Schedule

Following training, the schedule will vary based on department needs and may include:

Night Shift

  • 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 7-on/7-off rotation (additional shift may be scheduled to maintain full-time hours)

Evening Shift

  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Mid Shifts

  • 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (based on staffing)

Day Shift

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Call Requirements
  • On-call as needed.
Weekend Requirements
  • Rotating weekends after successful completion of training.
