Position : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Point of Care Lab Technician
Work Location : 2945 Ramco St, West Sacramento, CA 95691
Type: Full Time/Permanent - Direct Hire
Shift Notes: Monday-Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm
Salary : $26/hr - $32/hr plus benefits

About the Role:

We are hiring a Point of Care Lab Technician to support mobile diagnostic services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for LVNs/LPNs who enjoy autonomy, variety, and working on the move.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform waived lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, UA, Coagulation, Molecular)
  • Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collection
  • Ensure quality control (QC) for all testing procedures
  • Enter patient demographics and test results accurately
  • Monitor STAT testing turnaround times
  • Troubleshoot lab instruments and systems as needed
  • Maintain inventory and compliance with lab standards
  • Assist with specimen processing and documentation
  • Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Requirements

  • Must have ONE of the following:
    • LVN / LPN
    • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
    • Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
  • Active California license required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Experience in phlebotomy and lab testing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a mobile/field environment
