Advance your career in a dynamic Cath Lab environment with this highly specialized contract opportunity. Skilled Registered Nurses and Cath Lab Technologists are encouraged to apply for a role that calls for expertise in scrub cases, balloon pump management, and comprehensive procedural support. This position offers valuable experience for both seasoned healthcare professionals and those looking to expand their practice in a high-intensity setting.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based role with potential floating to the OR for vascular procedures and to additional Cath Lab locations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • CVT with RCIS certification
  • Proven skills in scrub technique, balloon pump operation, room turnover, patient transport, and manifold use
  • Willingness to float to additional units as operational needs arise
  • Candidates under consideration for their first travel assignment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrub and provide direct assistance in Cath Lab procedures
  • Operate and manage IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) technology
  • Efficiently support room turnover to optimize patient flow
  • Ensure safe patient transport within the department and to related units
  • Assist in manifold operation and other specialized technical functions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care across multiple locations, as needed
