Job description

NOW HIRING...MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST - CHEMISTRY
MUNSTER LOCATION 
 
In addition to performing all duties of a Technologist (MT or HT), Medical Laboratory Technician (Histology/Cytology Assistant, Histology Lab Assistant, where applicable) and a Laboratory Technologist, the Senior Technologist is responsible for complete operation of the Department in conjunction with the Supervisor/Specialist. Performs all moderate and highly complex clinical procedures utilizing sophisticated instrumentation to obtain accurate laboratory test results for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor/General Specialist and Laboratory Site Director.
 
Education/Experience: Clinical Departments: BS/BA & graduation from approved MT School; Histology: BS/BA. Clinical Departments: MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification; Histology: HT/HTL or equivalent certification. Experience: Clinical Departments - >=2 years experience as MT required: Histology: >=2 years experience in Histology required.
