Job description

Description of Position Instructional lab Aide - Nursing (Prescott) Hiring Rate: $30 The Instructional Lab Aide - Nursing Program will provide support to the nursing skills lab instructors for NSG 143 and NSG 153 for student competency skills check-offs on the Prescott Campus, with periodic travel to the Verde Campus for student competency skills check-offs; gathering supplies and assisting the instructors with tasks and preparing the skills lab. This position also serves as a clinical instructor for students and provides supervision to students in both internal and external clinical placements. Minimum Expectations & Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least of three years of experience as a registered nurseproviding direct patient care.

Any combination of equivalent education and experience whichprovides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. - Must hold current license to practice registered nursing in the state of Arizona. - Thorough knowledge and experience in technical procedures, supplies, and equipment innursing practice.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think critically and creatively,problem-solve, and coordinate activities. - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and schedule priorities effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of the Family Education Rights andPrivacy Act (FERPA).
