Job description


Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE gastroenterologist, to join our established practice located in La Grange, KY, right outside of Louisville, KY.
  • Practice has 2 Physicians, 2 APRNs, and dedicated support staff
  • One day a week in clinic and blocked time for scoping
  • Well-managed endoscopy suite in the hospital
  • Clinic office located on hospital campus
  • Significant patient volume available for a new physician
  • Excellent mentorship
  • Call is shared equally between two physicians (1:2 rotation) and is designed to support a balanced practice environment. Based on recent call data, consult volume averages approximately calls per month. Most overnight consults are managed remotely with patient evaluation the following day, and overnight return to the hospital is infrequent, averaging approximately 20 emergent food impaction cases annually requiring in-person intervention

Baptist Health La Grange is a 120-bed hospital providing a broad spectrum of healthcare services to residents of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll and eastern Jefferson counties. It serves more than 140,000 patients annually and offers 90 acute care beds, including an intensive care unit, a medical/surgical unit, telemetry, women s center and a 30-bed rehab and skilled care unit.

Baptist Health Medical Group physician offices are conveniently located on campus and at Baptist Health Crestwood, an outpatient facility that offers easy access to physical therapy, diagnostic imaging and a physician office. The hospital also manages Oldham County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), which is a service owned by the Oldham County Ambulance Taxing District. Oldham County EMS is operated by Baptist Health, in partnership with the Oldham County Ambulance Taxing District and Fiscal Court. Baptist Health La Grange is part of Baptist Health s Kentuckiana region, which also includes Baptist Health Louisville and Baptist Health Floyd. Baptist Health is the largest, not-for-profit, faith-based health system in Kentucky and southern Indiana.
