Stonehaven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an LPN Scheduler. This position plays a vital role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage while supporting quality resident care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain nursing staff schedules for all shifts.
  • Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage while meeting census and acuity needs.
  • Manage schedule changes, call-offs, and open shifts.
  • Communicate with nursing staff regarding scheduling updates and staffing needs.
  • Assist with staffing coverage by coordinating overtime, agency, and PRN staff when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
  • Work closely with nursing leadership to support daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with staffing requirements and company policies.
  • Perform other administrative and nursing support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Scheduling or staffing experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office is preferred.
