Job description

Job Summary
 

Tapville Bussers are responsible for assisting Dining Ambassadors in providing exceptional service to our guests while

maintaining dining room cleanliness and clearing and setting tables in a timely and efficient manner. They are responsible for

performing station opening/closing setup for each shift, restocking, and maintaining clean, sanitary service areas.

Job Duties

  • Acts as a representative of Tapville's Core Values

  • Clear and reset tables after guests leave

  • Remove tableware between courses and take it to their appropriate stations for washing

  • Respond to guests’ requests

  • Communicate with the Dining Ambassadors and Guest Ambassadors as needed to ensure efficient seating, table utilization

  • Make sure the chairs and floors around the tables are clean.

  • Notify the manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service.

  • Other duties as assigned by Management staff.

Skill Requirements

  • Prior restaurant experience

  • Experience in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment

  • Time management skills

  • Attention to detail and sanitation rules

  • Availability to work in shifts during weekends and evenings

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for the entire workday

  • Able to move about on foot to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height

    frequently, or move in a constantly changing environment.

  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
