**Cardiac Anesthesiology Opening in Ashland, KY**

Full-time
We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist.
* Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia required
* Certification in advanced perioperative TEE or planning to become certified at the conclusion of training.
* Our Cardiac Anesthesiologists supervise CRNAs for cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases, and they perform cases in the cath labs.
* The hospital-employed Anesthesiologist will receive a competitive salary of $675,000 plus additional pay of $1,800 per call shift.
* Excellent benefits (health, vision, dental, life, retirement), eight weeks of vacation and one additional week for CME.
* We offer a generous signing bonus and student loan repayment.
**Hospital**
465-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We operate 40+ primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. This year, we will complete a large construction project on campus, which will provide us with a new main entrance, a brand-new ER and an all-new Imaging Department.

Ashland, KY is a town with a population of about 25,000 people, located along the Ohio River. We have a clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, an indoor tennis center, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping. Our Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family-friendly communities with an excellent cost of living. We also have some of the country's finest state parks and other outdoor areas that feature golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and biking. We have four seasons, all of which are relatively mild. We are also a short drive to metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville). And we are located about 20 minutes from Huntington, WV, the home of Marshall University. Additionally, about two hours away in West Virginia, there is excellent snow skiing and the New River Gorge National Park, which offers multiple outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing and hiking.
