About Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

Kwik Kar Lube & Tune is seeking a Senior Automotive Service Advisor for its Keller, Texas location. This customer-facing role is designed for an experienced automotive advisor who can manage 10-20 vehicles per day while guiding repair orders from initial write-up through completion. The position offers hourly pay plus team-based commission with annual earning potential of $65,000-$100,000, along with medical insurance, PTO, sick time, and provided uniforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer intake and vehicle write-ups, documenting customer concerns and service needs accurately.
  • Create and present repair estimates and maintenance recommendations while clearly explaining service needs to customers.
  • Review and present Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs), including pictures and videos documenting recommended repairs.
  • Manage customer follow-up and the authorization process through inbound and outbound phone calls, text messages, and email.
  • Manage repair orders from initial write-up through completion and keep customers informed throughout the service process.
  • Use Tekmetric for shop and repair-order management and Steer for customer communication and follow-up.
  • Present appropriate repair and maintenance opportunities with an expectation to support the shop's sales goals.
  • Manage a daily workload of approximately 10-20 vehicles while supporting weekly sales expectations of $20,000-$50,000.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of automotive Service Advisor experience required
  • Automotive industry background is required.
  • Experience in either an independent automotive repair shop or dealership environment; independent repair shop experience is preferred.
  • Experience creating and presenting estimates, maintenance recommendations, and repair authorizations.
  • Ability to manage customer communication through inbound and outbound phone calls, text messages, and email.
  • Ability to review and present Digital Vehicle Inspections using photos and videos.
  • Availability to work the stated Monday-Saturday schedule, including required Saturdays.
