Kubernetes Consultant
Location: Remote
Role Overview
We are seeking a technical resource to support the implementation of the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). This role involves contributing to a greenfield, on-premises deployment to expand the existing Kubernetes platform. The objective is to operationalize the platform to support DevOps teams in deploying applications by the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and operationalization of the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform.
• Contribute to low-level design, testing, and proof-of-concept work, particularly for networking and firewall plugins.
• Support platform patching, monitoring integration with tools like Datadog, and the creation of runbooks.
• Work with automation tools such as Commander, Argo CD, and Jenkins.
• Ensure adherence to security controls, including pod security and admission controllers.
• Engage in hands-on technical work for the deployment and stabilization of the platform.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven expertise in Kubernetes and hands-on implementation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in RHEL/Unix and networking is required. Experience with standard Kubernetes is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) is ideal.
• Familiarity with the Nutanix AI platform is considered beneficial for future projects.
