Job description

Primary Purpose:
The Processing Supervisor ensures the successful execution of nightly production operations by aligning people, processes, and resources to meet established goals for quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role leads a team in a fast‑paced environment and plays a key part in delivering safe, high‑quality poultry products.
Night Shift Departments With Openings:
  • Cone Debone.
  • Thigh Debone.
  • Trim & Packout.
  • Wet Cooler.

Applicants may indicate a preferred department; final placement is based on experience and operational need.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee nightly production activities to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and adjust labor to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure all team members follow SOPs, GPPs, and company policies.
  • Monitor product quality and packaging specs; implement corrective actions for defects or deviations.
  • Uphold all food safety requirements, including HACCP, sanitation standards, and USDA regulatory guidelines.
  • Track and achieve key performance metrics: BMPH, Cost/lb, PPMH, A‑Grade %.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure timely completion of required training.
  • Review and approve timekeeping, attendance, and time‑off requests in Kronos and Oracle HCM.
  • Support continuous improvement, employee development, and cross‑department collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience; poultry or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with HACCP.
  • Familiarity with USDA regulations, sanitation requirements, and pre‑operational inspection guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
