Job description

Pay: $1,450 to $1,550 per week
Freight: Dedicated Kroger freight with no-touch deliveries
Home Time: Weekly with a 34-hour reset
Location: Roanoke, VA 24011

Dedicated Kroger freight with scheduled route planning
Approximately four loads per week averaging about 2,000 miles
2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors
Weekly home time with consistent dispatch support

Dedicated Kroger freight provides CDL-A truck drivers with a consistent weekly schedule, predictable freight planning, and reliable miles throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Drivers benefit from an established customer account designed to support steady earnings while reducing day-to-day uncertainty.

The Route:

Operate within a dedicated network serving Virginia and West Virginia with approximately four scheduled loads each week averaging about 2,000 miles. Westbound freight regularly routes through Indianapolis before returning to the dedicated network, helping maintain consistent freight flow and productive weekly miles.

Freight is no-touch and handled through a combination of drop-and-hook and live unload deliveries using hydraulic pallet equipment, allowing drivers to stay focused on efficient, safe operations instead of freight handling.

Equipment:

Drive a 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractor equipped with a comfortable sleeper and a 1,200- to 1,500-watt inverter. Equipment is maintained to support dependable performance and driver comfort throughout each trip.

Pay & Home Time:

Earn $1,450 to $1,550 per week while operating on a dedicated account with dependable freight demand and scheduled dispatch coordination.

Drivers receive a weekly 34-hour reset at home. Drivers who live within 30 miles of the operating center may also complete qualifying 10-hour breaks at home when dispatch allows.

This account includes overnight driving along with weekend and holiday freight as part of normal dedicated operations.
